I’m Perry (The Roops Guy) I Had A Group Of Close Friends at a Summer Camp I Worked at who were pretty cool. After a Long weeks Work we had free time were we would compete in board games such as dominion (which was later banned because of addiction) Catan, and Even Magnetic Word Games (Such as Cool Story, Bro and Ransom Notes)

The issue was we all lived far apart and had different life paths so keeping in touch was difficult and we often drifted apart. Of course there are other Video Games, but they often required a learning curve and were hard to sell to friends who weren’t into video games.

So I decided to Put My current game to the side and make a game to solve this problem. I got a “whiteboard” out and started to write down games that we had enjoyed. I had a couple of ideas down and was about to decide to make a game based on “Sequence” and when I was about to get to work, it came to me! I could make a game based on those word magnet games I had played! I could Also make a feature to create your own word and prompt packs and share them with others making for infinite unique games!

That’s How Roops Ransom came to be. I am very thankful to the geniuses behind those word magnet games for the idea and for inspiring the title also.
